As a person, you have a style. You may be casual, always opting for comfort over the latest trend. You may be traditional in your approach to how you dress or style your hair. It might be that you are a trend-setter and always have the latest gadgets and gizmos in your house, car, and on your person. We don’t often think about it, but the things you like are affected by the way you think and approach life. This is your style.
In the same way, you should translate your approach to life and your business into a brand identity. This may be as simple as your signature in black ink or as refined and developed as the Nike swoosh. It is important to have something that represents your service or product and your approach to your readers, customers, or clients. Tell the world who you are and what you do.
Once you have a style, create a Brand Identity. With this new creation, be consistent! Whatever you do, always present yourself the same way to build your brand and image. Take this brand and share it with the world across your social media, email, website, print, and other marketing platforms. Don’t forget about any business cards, signage, vehicles, front door, sales tags, or other areas where you present your brand.
If you’re ready to create, refresh, or start over with a professional presentation of your style, let me know.
